While searching for a new home in Southern Illinois, I contacted the Carbondale office of RE/MAX Professionals in regards to a few listings that we had seen through online viewing.The first agent that had handled our initial call was quite busy, so, we decided to make an appointment with Terri Henry after we happened upon her website.

We are so glad that we made the appointment with Terri in the first weekend of May 2008! Terri was very patient with our viewing of properties that she arranged a second viewing (so that a relative could also view it); Terri was very friendly, sincere and non-pushy during the viewing process.Terri was very instrumental in submitting our offers to the seller of the home, as well as handling all of the details of the closing date: as a realtor, Terri is the epitome of Integrity, Honesty, and Sincerity.

Upon taking possession of our new home, we encountered issues with the central air unit (which was not disclosed on the disclosure sheets at the time of viewing). Terri apologized profusely in regards to the problems---even brought over a fan to make our new home a little less warm; she also contacted the seller/sellers realtor for us in regards to the Central air issues and also put us in contact with an insurance agency to make sure our new home was properly insured.

We wanted to write this letter of recommendation for Terri Henry because of the incredible job she did for us in the selling of our house and the purchasing of our new home. Terri went over and beyond her job duties when showing our house. My husband and I both work full time jobs and we have two large dogs. When someone was coming to see the house or an inspector was coming Terri would go to our house and tend to the dogs. She also gave us good advice as to what we could do to improve our chances of selling our home. Our home sold faster then we had anticipated and our new home was not completed. My husband and I along with our dogs were going to have to be separated while we were waiting for the completion of our new home. Terri offered me a place to stay while we were homeless. Terri also offered us free storage for our household items.
We highly recommend her. She was always there for us anytime of the day and would adjust her schedule to accommodate us. Her knowledge and experience helped us to make the right decisions concerning the new house.
